oh, darlin' don't you ever grow up

with 2012 sneaking up on us a little more each day,  it makes you appreciate every day a little more.  it seems like life is in fast forward sometimes.  and there's just no way to slow it down.  sometimes i feel like there's just not enough time during the day for everything.   which is why i really love never grow up by taylor swift.  it reminds us to slow down every once in a while.  remember the little things before you forget them.  live in the moment, not the past or future.

sometimes you just have to remember to breath.  sometimes i forget to do that.  enjoy the magic while it's still there. that's why  i really love taylor swift's songs because they're real.  they remind you life isn't perfect,  but it's worth it.  

why are we in such a rush to grow up?  i wish i was still six.  i wish i still played with barbies and watched tarzan five days in a row.  i wish i still had a snack before i went to bed every night.  i wish i didn't have any worries.  i wish i was little, where everything was magical and new.  where imagination was everything.  where the swing set could be a pirate ship or a tree house in the jungle.  

although there are perks to being a teenager,  its scary at the same time.  in four years i'll be headed off to college.  and to be honest,  i'm scared.  but i'm also excited.  knowing all the new and exciting things i'll experience is enough to make me brave.  to be able to face the future with a smile.

these little guys make me giggle with their goofy grins and tiny tushies.  even though they can drive me insane,  i love them.

and then of course there's her.

the roller derby diva.  but you learn to love her(;with god's help i'll be able to face anything.  he'll be right beside helping me along the way,  through thick and thin.  i really do love that guy.
