hand prints on the tree skirt is truly a tradition in my family. marking time by painting our fingers and palms with red and green. squishing our fingers down to make the print solid. filling in the spot that are bare. and then when it's dry writing our age on top. and then finally putting it under the tree and piling presents on top.
