Plus, I'm experiencing a severe case of writers block. It just doesn't flow like it used to. The words feel forced. Every time I write something it sounds basic. Straight to the point. It has no meaning or feeling. Like I'm supposed to write it, not that I want to.
Blah, blah, blah. I feel like my posts are always about how I have nothing to say! What is wrong with me? Seriously.
Anyways, we left for the beach on Saturday of last week. We loaded up all the cars. And trust me, they were loaded. We finally made it out at about nine-thirty. Stopped for some breakfast.
Buffet, bacon buffet.
Let's just say,
I was in heaven.
And I got several comments not to eat it all.
Or take the whole bin it was in.
You people know me so well.
After a six and a half hour car ride, we finally made it to the beach. Let's just say I was more than relieved. We unloaded all of our stuff and went down to the beach. No swimming though, it was feeding time for the sharks. I like all of my limbs, thank you very much.
We ran into some old family friends who were staying down there at the same time. I've known these kids since forever! And let me just say, they are not afraid to wear two pairs of pants and dance to I'm Sexy And I Know It. When the chorus came on they ripped the first pair down. It was, interesting to say the least.
We made it down to the beach the second day. I snapped a few pictures before diving into the waves. I'm proud to say no severe sunburns this time. I was extra careful to wear sunscreen.
We ventured out to go fishing on Tuesday. Sadly, the fish were either incredibly stubborn or incredibly nonexistent. Either way, no bites. We did feed the ducks though. So it wasn't a total loss.
On Wednesday we playing MagiQuest. It was pure awesomeness. Even though I didn't have my wand. Not awesomeness. It was still fun though!
The rest of the week was spent at the beach, bingo, and the strip.

So that was our beach trip. It was... interesting. Definitely memorable. We won't forget this one anytime soon!
Here's a hint....
Scratch, scratch.
