to the tree lot we go! all packed in the car with breakfast supplies to bake. we headed to our aunt and uncle's house in the earlyish hours of the morning. along with my grandparent we made lots of dishes to eat. like sausage and cheese rolls, coffee cake, and fruit. it was a perfect start to the day.
we then headed to the christmas tree lot, where we hoped to find the perfect tree. sadly we didn't at the first or second lot. they were all too skinny and tall for our taste. but we had success at the third tree lot where it was so packed with trees you couldn't walk in between them.
once we loaded tree into our grandparent's truck we headed home to get out the stand and find where we were going to put it. we chose the middle of our den wall since there is nothing there. i really do love christmas.
of course i had to take pictures of everything(; because christmas is the best time for bokeh shots, which just so happen to be gorgeous. even if my lens doesn't take them very well.
