Or hail I should say. We got big pieces of hail today. It was something I have never, ever seen before. They were just a little bit smaller than golf balls. Thats very unusual for where I live. Some pieces were bigger than golf balls, but we only got maybe one or two of those though. I was sitting in my school room when something hit the window hard. Then again, and again, and again. That's when I knew it was hail. Which hail isn't unusual, it was just the size of the hail. Usually, the hail is only the size of 1/4 of a penny. Small, I know.
So maybe it wasn't the size of baseballs, but big. I think I was the only one in my family fascinated by it though. Except my little three year old brothers. Ha ha. I wanted to go get some while it was falling, but my mom said not even if one fell the size of a basketball. I think I'd be scared to get that one, you know if another one fell. Though I don't know how a roof would hold up to a humongous chunk of ice like that. Hopefully I never find out!
